SS 14 HAIR TRENDS / TENDENCIAS PARA EL CABELLO PRIMAVERA VERANO 2014

Se aproxima una nueva temporada, y para estar acuerdo a ella les comparto las tendencias que tendrán furor en la próxima primavera-verano; tanto en cortes como en peinados. Espero sus comentarios acerca de cuáles son sus favoritos.

A new season is coming, and to be according to her, I share the trends that will rage next spring-summer, both cuts and hairstyles. I hope your comments about what are your favorite styles.

CORTES / HAIRCUTS

1. ESTILO BOB / BOB STYLE

El Bob se reafirma como tendencia en el 2014 y viene desde el clásico con el cabello liso hasta texturizado y con flequillo.

Bob style is reaffirmed as the trend in 2014, and comes from the classic with straight hair to textured with bangs.

2. FLEQUILLO / FRINGE OR BANGS

El flequillo es una declaración de moda y continúa trendy pues le cambia el aspecto a cualquier corte. Fendi lo propone tupido, perfecto para cabellos voluminosos; BCBG y Saint Laurent tapando un poco las cejas y de aspecto natural.

Bangs are a fashion statement, and continues trendy because change the look to any cut. Fendi proposes bushy, perfect for voluminous hair; BCBG and Saint Laurent covering some eyebrows and natural looking.

3. LARGO Y LACIO / LONG AND STRAIGHT

Una cabellera lisa para quienes ostentan de un cabello bien cuidado. Ojo que al estar tan largo requiere más atención y tratamientos, tener puntas abiertas o mucho frizz no es nada chic.

A smooth hair for those who hold a good hair care. Being so long hair requires more care and treatment, have much frizz or split ends isn't chic.

4. MUY CORTO / SHORT CURT

Si lo quieres lucir vanguardista, apuesta por un cabello muy corto. Saskia de Brauw (foto superior-derecha) se caracteriza por su apariencia andrógina con el pixie clásico. Para las menos arriesgadas; un flequillo lateral puede darle algo de movimiento al cabello como el de la modelo de Burberry Prorsum (superior izquierda). Para este tipo de cortes lo más recomendable es tener un rostro ovalado y rasgos suaves.

If you want to look edgy, bet on a very short hair. Saskia de Brauw (top-right picture) is characterized by her androgynous appearance with classic pixie. For the less daring, a side bangs can give some movement to the hair like the model of Burberry Prorsum (top left). For this type of cut is the best thing to have an oval face and soft features.

5. AL HOMBRO / MID-LENGHT CUT

¿Te aburriste del Bob y te lo dejaste crecer o cortaste tu larga melena? El corte al hombro es fácil de mantener y permite hacer gran variedad de peinados, por lo que puede hacerte ver versátil.

Are you bored of Bob style and I left it grow or cut your long hair? Mid lenght cut is easy to maintain and allows variety of hairstyles, so you can make you look versatile.

PEINADOS / HAIRSTYLES

1. COLETA BAJA / LOW PONYTAIL

Nada como una coleta para los días en que el cabello se encuentra incontrolable o el calor es insoportable. Jason Wu, Altuzarra y DKNY acompañaron sus colecciones de primavera-verano con coletas pulida en la nuca; mientras que Lanvin y Derek Lam le dieron una apariencia más descuidada.

Nothing like a ponytail for days when your hair is uncontrollable or heat is unbearable. Jason Wu, Altuzarra and DKNY accompanied their spring-summer collections with polished ponytails at the nape, while Derek Lam and Lanvin giving it a sloppy appearance.

2. ONDAS PLAYERAS / MERMAID WAVES

¡Lograr este look es muy sencillo! Hazte trenzas por todo el cabello en la noche antes de dormir, al día siguiente tendrás estas ondas que ante todo son imperfectas; de aire californiano, con esencia playera. Si tu cabello es extremadamente liso, ayúdate con una crema para peinar. ¡No a los rulos, no al secador!

Make this look is very easy! Become braids throughout the hair at night before bed, the next day you can have these waves that primarily are imperfect; with Californian air, beachy essence. If your hair is extremely smooth, help yourself with a styling cream. Not curlers, not hairdryer!

3. COMPLEMENTAR CON ACCESORIOS / ACCESSORISE

¿Tienes una fecha especial o quieres romper la rutina? La temporada primavera-verano 2014 trae consigo la feminidad en accesorios para el cabello en forma de flores, como en las propuestas de Dolce&Gabbana y Zac Posen. Por otro lado Valentino complementó sus looks con un cintillo de inspiración medieval con aplicaciones doradas; y Derek Lam y Max Mara con pañoletas llevadas de distintas maneras.

Have a special date or want to break the routine? Spring-Summer 2014 season brings femininity in hair accessories such as flowers, as in the proposed Dolce & Gabbana and Zac Posen. Furthermore Valentino complemented their looks with a medieval headband; and Derek Lam and Max Mara in headscarves carried in different ways.

4. PEINADO HACIA UN LADO / SIDE SWEPT DOWN

Este peinado de aire infantil sigue en tendencia, y en esta ocasión viene con un aspecto más natural o descuidado. Dries Van Noten, Valentin Yudashkin, Prada y Zadig & Voltaire nos dan pautas para imitar este peinado.

5. EFECTO HÚMEDO / WET EFFECT

Otro estilo de peinado que continúa presente es el efecto húmedo. En el pasado otoño-invierno tenía un aspecto descuidado, como acabado de salir de la ducha. Para esta primavera viene en una apariencia pulida; el cabello luce completamente adherido a la cabeza en las raíces y suelto en las puntas, como si acabara de peinarse estando húmedo.

Another hairstyle that is still present is the wet effect. Last fall -winter had a careless look, as just come out of shower. This spring comes in a polished look, the hair looks completely adhered to the head in the roots and loose at the tips, as if just combing being wet.

6. 60's

Los sesentas también estuvieron presentes en lo peinados de algunos desfiles primavera-verano 2014. Brigitte Bardot puede ser la musa a imitar en este estilo, donde la clave es añadir volumen cardando el pelo.

7. RECOGIDO / UP-DOS

Los peinados recogidos vienen con una apariencia relajada, con mechones sueltos que le dan una sensación de frescura al rostro. Giambattista Valli y Erdem fueron las casas de moda que acompañaron sus colecciones con este tipo de peinado.

The up-dos come with a relaxed look, with loose strands that give a feeling of freshness to the face. Giambattista Valli and Erdem fashion houses were accompanying their collections with this type of hairstyle.

8. NATURAL

Buenas noticias para las que nos da pereza peinarnos (¡ahí estoy yo de primera!), el look recién levantada de la cama llega para facilitarnos la vida; tanto en cabellos largos como cortos. BCBG, Blumarine, Calvin Klein y Emanuel Ungaro le apuestan a esta apariencia cómoda y urbana.

Good news for which we are too lazy to comb our hair (I'm there!), the look just gets out of bed to make life easier, both long and short hair. BCBG, Blumarine, Calvin Klein and Emanuel Ungaro betting on this comfortable and urban appearance.

9. TRENZAS / BRAIDS

La onda despeinada llega a las trenzas. De raíz, de espiga o laterales; pero con una característica en común: deshechas, con mechones sueltos. Una opción más para las perezosas. Calla, Rachel Zoe y Vexiana fueron las marcas que las mostraron en pasarela.

The wave disheveled reaches braids. Root, or side pin, but with one thing in common: they dissolved, with loose strands. One more option for lazy. Calla, Rachel Zoe and Vexiana were the brands that showed on the catwalks.
